The Upcountry Oyster Roast is a spring celebration to commemorate Athens Land Trust’s 30 years of preserving, protecting, and strengthening the fabric of the community. Please join us on April 14 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Athentic Brewing Company for live music from Bichos Vivos, delicious local fare, beer and other libations brewed right on site, and of course... oysters!
We’re also very excited to announce the release of Land Sakes Lager, a seasonal Pale Czech Lager created by the incredible team at Athentic in celebration of our 30th anniversary!

With the cost of energy on the rise, many Athens residents are feeling the burden of higher bills. The Athens Energy Opportunity Program aims to educate community members on Weatherization, Energy, Home Repairs, Utility Rebates, Solar Installation, and other services.
You can find the West Broad Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 5 to 8 PM at Athentic Brewing Company in Normaltown and Saturdays from 11 AM to 2 PM in the West Broad neighborhood!
Athens Land Trust is excited to host this course designed to help budding entrepreneurs develop their business and for existing business owners to grow their business. Thanks to funding through the ACC Community Development Block Grant, there is no cost to participate. Our goal is to have registrants attend every course date to take full advantage of this free offering, as well as to develop a written business plan for their business. Workshops will be part-lecture and part in-class work to give attendees time to develop strong business plans and strategies. Meetings will also feature local guest speakers.
