Invasive Plant Species Removal Work Day at Heritage Park
Dec 5 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

In partnership with with the Keep Oconee County Beautiful Commission, Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department, and the Oconee County Government, we invite you to join us for a series of invasive species removal work days at Heritage Park!

This is an excellent opportunity to get outside, learn more about forest health and meet new people.

Autumn Olive, though beautiful, is crowding our native species and causing ecological harm to our forest and its inhabitants.

No training or experience is required; each volunteer will be trained in identification and removal.
