Athens Land Trust is excited to host this course designed to help budding entrepreneurs develop their business and for existing business owners to grow their business. Thanks to funding through the ACC Community Development Block Grant, there is no cost to participate. Our goal is to have registrants attend every course date to take full advantage of this amazing FREE offering, as well as to develop a written business plan for their business. Workshops will be part lecture and part in-class work to give attendees time to develop strong business plans and strategies. Meetings will also feature local guest speakers.
To complete the class, participants will attend all 4 scheduled sessions, as well as 2 additional seminars, and complete a business plan. We will also offer 2 hours of 1-on-1 coaching to all participants.
Due to COVID, we will be offering an online option via Zoom on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 PM and a socially distanced session in our outdoor classroom at the West Broad Community Garden (300 S. Rocksprings St, Athens, GA 30606) on Saturdays at 2:30 PM each week. Face coverings will be required for sessions in the garden. Class dates will be:
