For beginning entrepreneurs, we offer a Vendor Development Program, an educational support program provided for those who are just getting started in their business. This FREE Course will cover what you need to know to prepare a new or updated business plan and connect you with the resources necessary to build a solid foundation for growth.
Successful entrepreneurs also need local resources, practical business knowledge (or access to it), and a network of colleagues to rely on. GYB is more than just a business planning course, it delivers everything a new entrepreneur needs to build a strong, lasting business. Through the weeks of the class, students get to know the other attendees, who will bond through shared experiences, while gaining a network that can be relied on in the future for support and advice.
GYB teaches the core business principles that a hopeful entrepreneur will need to get their business off the ground. The principals and steps taught in GYB are both practical and usable. We cover business plans, licensing, funding, marking, social media, and much more.
This year’s course will be help for 8-consecutive Monday nights from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Athens-Clarke County Library with additional instruction and hands-on guidance offered during our (4) Saturday business lab sessions.
