Every year on the first Saturday in May, we host our May Day Celebration. May Day marks the changing of the seasons, and we invite you to celebrate with us through music, festivities, and of course, the maypole dedication in the garden! We will have plenty of talented farmers, gardeners, artists, and other local vendors, so this is a great opportunity to shop locally for your Mother’s Day gifts!
Through our partnership with Wholesome Wave Georgia, we can offer SNAP/EBT on a variety of foods, and double SNAP/EBT dollars on fresh produce items.
This event will also feature the Athens Berry Pie Contest! Put your baking skills to the test in front of three local celebrity judges for the chance to win a first-prize ribbon and a WBFM tote bag full of goodies from the day’s farmers market vendors.
